Our Riverside clinic is a mixed practice clinic servicing our wonderful agri farmers & pet parents from the Rakaia to the Rangitata Rivers & mountains to sea.
The clinic, located in Ashburton, with an additional convenience store in Mayfield covers the growing Mid Canterbury area through experienced veterinarians, technicians, and advisors dedicated to your animals’ health and your farm’s success.
We have nine vets – mixed, companion animal and large animal with many of our team having well over a decade of experience each. They specialise in herd and flock health, reproductive management, and preventative care.
Our Technicians - Malcolm, Izzy, Kryselle and Izzy J, led by Anna are passionate and engaged with our large animal vets and ready to support the needs of our agri farmers as are our Commercial Advisors Ron & Jo.
We believe we have the best of the bunch in our Customer Care team who are well equipped in knowledge and committed to our clinical teams, Commercial Advisors and most importantly “you” our wonderful and loyal clientele.
Located in the same building as our sister brand Petfirst Veterinary – catering to small animal needs including your working dogs, we are a trusted name in your community for generations.
Originally founded as Riverside Vets, and rebranded to VetEnt over a decade ago, we are still going strong and are excited for a refreshed look. We are the same crew with the same passion and technical expertise. We are embracing a more locally led clinic model where decisions are made at the coal face and we can pivot quicker to look after local clients’ needs better.
We have better technology and systems such as “Herbie” our digital animal health relationship manager. We also are launching some strong partnership programmes to ensure loyalty and commitment is reflected both ways with farmers.
With strong ties to the community we sponsor a number of organisations, schools and clubs and look forward to continuing that relationship.
